CHECK OUT OUR

Capps Cove is the perfect escape ...an easy getaway from the pressures of the city. A nostalgic retreat to a simpler time. An uncommon North Alabama bed and breakfast just a short drive north of Birmingham.

Arriving at Capps Cove is like coming upon a hidden 19th century settlement. Shaded grounds and well-tended gardens connect a cluster of handcrafted buildings — a secluded retreat created a decade ago by Cason, Sybil and Cindy Capps, and reflecting their love of antiques and simple pleasures. Historical architecture with contemporary amenities.

A big red barn serves as the meeting house and site of wedding receptions. A white picket fence welcomes you to the small wedding chapel with an antique pump organ. There's the playhouse where people often gather for smaller events. And there are quaint rustic cabins that offer lodging. At the end of the road, white columns welcome guests to the main house, where you'll be greeted by your hosts Cason and Sybil Capps, and where cabin guests are treated to a full, home-cooked breakfast in the spacious dining room each day.

Escape to the North Alabama mountains and enjoy a quiet walk by the creek, fresh mountain air, the cozy glow from a stone hearth fireplace, wildflowers and the fragrance of big leaf magnolias at Capps Cove. For reservations or more information, call 800-583-4750. Or use our online reservation request form.
